Beth El Synagogue Religious School
Board of Directors Liaison - Debra Brandt, 3rd Vice President
| Information on the religious school | Beth El Synagogue is most proud of its Religious School, a crowning jewel for all the years the congregation has existed. Currently we offer pre-kindergarten through grade 8 education, culminating in a Bar or Bat Mitzvah. We also offer some teen programs on site and access to all United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism youth programs. Working with Rabbi Richard L. Eisenberg, our teachers are experienced and dedicated members of our own community. We are especially proud of the fact that our students are comfortable on the Bimah. Students in grades 3-8 meet Wednesday, 4-5:30 p.m., and Sundays, 9:30 a.m.-noon. Pre-K students meet once a month. Kindergarten-grade 2 students meet Sundays only. Tuition is waived for pre-K-grade 2 as is the synagogue membership requirement. Synagogue membership is required for families of students in grade 3-8. Scholarships are available for extracurricular youth programs as well as religious school tuition. |
