Funds and Gift Giving
Giving to various synagogue funds is a traditional way for people to remember or honor family and friends, and for the synagogue to raise much needed revenue. Acknowledgments are sent to the family of those remembered or the honoree. In addition the donations are published in our newsletter
The following are funds to which donations may be made:
The Board of Trustees has established the Dr. Stanley M. Mand Education Fund. The fund honors the late Stanley Mand, who passed away recently. He served as board chairman and longtime adult education chairman. Monies in this fund will be used for educational purposes at Beth El, including adult education and religious school programs.
Beth El Synagogue: For the general fund supporting the synagogue.
Building Fund: For maintenance and improvements to the synagogue and grounds.
Religious School: For the benefit of the school, allowing us to provide tuition scholarships and purchase special programs, materials and supplies.

Other ways to remember loved ones:
Yizkor donations are a way of remembering loved ones during the High Holidays.
A Memorial plaque is a lasting way to remember a loved one. Plaques, purchased at a cost of $350, are permanently placed on memorial boards in our main corridor and lit on each Hebrew yahrtzeit.
In addition to contributing to funds during the year, we hope that you will consider remembering Beth El Synagogue when writing your will.
