Lox & Lecture Program - Sunday, April 25th
at 10 AM
We are proud to present noted author Dani
Shapiro, a Beth El Synagogue member, on Sunday, April 25, at 10 a.m., during the
next Dr. Stanley M. Mand Lox & Lecture. Shapiro will will discuss her
newest book, "Devotion," which chronicles
her search for faith. Her book is
reviewed and praised in the Feb. 15, 2010, edition of Time magazine, among other
sources. Shapiro also participates in the Torrington Campus of the University of
Connecticut's Litchfield County Writers Project programs. Copies of her book
will be sold by the Hickory Stick Bookshop during the Lox & Lecture program.
Admission to the Lox & Lecture is free, but reservations are required because of
the anticipated large turn out. Call the office at 860-482-8263.
